Motorcycle Ohio Rider Education Registration Begins Monday, February 11
The Ohio Department of Public Safety’s Motorcycle Ohio Rider Education Program registration begins Monday, February 11th at 12:01 a.m. Those wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle or refresh their motorcycle safety skills after years of not participating in the hobby may register at www.motorcycle.ohio.gov for one of the $25 courses scheduled throughout the state from April through October.more

Changes to Ohio's Graduated Driver License Law
House Bill 343 was signed into law on January 4, 2007, and places certain restrictions on Ohio's young drivers. One of the components of the new law limits the number of passengers a 16-year-old driver can transport in their vehicle. Learn more about the changes that took effect on April 6.more

 
To provide ODPS and outside customers with a variety of resources (e.g., provide technical support and direction; prepare the state budget and acquire financial resources; provide a high public awareness of highway safety through a variety of campaigns; supply valuable data to a multitude of customers; provide supplies and purchase services for the department; ensure proper use of department equipment and monitor employee pay records; manage personnel issues as well as training and benefits).
