Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery where people profit from the control and exploitation of others. Because Ohio Investigative Unit agents often conduct investigations in establishments where human trafficking may take place – in restaurants, convenience store parking lots and adult entertainment clubs, as well as through food stamp fraud investigations, they have joined the fight against human trafficking.
