JOHN SKILLSTEAD, Lt. PAUL SMITH, KAREN FAVORS (Federal Bureau of Investigation) – Active Shooters - A Perspective of What We Have Learned and What We Can Do Better
The presentation will focus on the history of active shooters in the United States, what the FBI annual studies show in regards to incidents occurring in educational environments; prevention efforts; and how individuals can prepare if they are faced with an active shooter situation.
