(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – The Ohio Traffic Safety Council (OTSC) will meet in-person and virtually on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 9 a.m. During the meeting, attendees will hear from the featured speaker, Erin Reed, from the Ohio Department of Public Safety about the status of oral fluid testing in Ohio to stop drug-impaired drivers. The meeting will also include updates from the occupant protection, impaired driving, youthful driving, and distracted driving subcommittees.
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine established the Council in September 2020. The Council is led by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and includes representatives from federal, state, county and local agencies along with traffic safety partners and advocates who are all dedicated to making Ohio’s roadways safer.
